CSC Pre-work: Social contract for our team
As we progress on IBM Corporate Service Corps pre-work, our team has met several times for the past few months to learn more about India, its culture, weather, habits, as well as health and suggested vaccinations. In the best interest of ensuring a great teamwork, we have created a Team Social Contract following Agile best practices as listed below:

All 15 participants got together and created this as a common commitment for teamwork and mutual respect. Besides that, we have also learned about cultural flexibility. As we are all from different countries, in the best purpose to ensure an even better experience, we have to be patient with each other as there will be many profile differences between us.
One interesting activity we participated was to complete a questionnaire where we had to answer some questions. As a result, the tool generated our cultural profile and it allowed us to compare our profiles with others and with the expected profile for other countries, which also showed the differences between us, as showed below:

My results are in Orange, in blue are other participants's profile and in green India's most common profile. This is very interesting as it shows that the only characteristic that matched is the other participant's and Indian's, none matched mine.
I believe this difference will actually make us even stronger, as a multi-cultural team, we will be able to see our client's issue in different perspectives, allowing our project results to be more flexible and complete.
I hope you liked this post and do expect the next one! I am sure you will enjoy it.
Cheers!
